Lions in Winter—that was the mode of Michael Bastian's latest collection. Models varying in age and degree of facial hair sported fusty-cool updates on American classics—a lean, tan pinstriped suit over a gingham shirt; popped collar plaid underneath country cardigans; even a pair of pajamas right out of the Hefner handbook. These were the clothes of luxurious men, unafraid to draw attention without violating good taste.
